Meet Bonny, our remarkable senior equine partner at Hope Reins. Often affectionately referred to as a "unicorn" by our clients, Bonny brings a unique charm and wisdom to our equine-assisted therapy sessions. Despite being completely blind in one eye, she has extraordinary vision while navigating the therapy arena, demonstrating insight and intuition that often surpasses our expectations.

At 27 years young, Bonny’s fresh perspective is infectious. She delights in leading trail rides and has a special affection for young clients, ensuring they feel safe and supported during their experiences. Since joining the Hope Reins herd in the summer of 2024, Bonny has quickly proven her invaluable role in our therapy practice, enriching the lives of those she touches.

With her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication, Bonny exemplifies the heart of our mission in the therapy arena, helping clients heal and grow by combining the disciplines of psychology and theology in an equine assisted therapeutic format.
